Metronome Spring 2024 Cohort Kickoff!
It has begun – on Monday, May 6th, 2024, METRONOME launched its Spring 2024 Cohort!
It’s an exciting time in music entrepreneurship as the accelerator program debuted virtually. Run by Sean Mulligan, the event introduced the esteemed mentor of the program, Arthur Soroken, setting the stage for an innovative and inspiring journey ahead.
Among the attendees were valued alums who symbolized the spirit of innovation and success fostered by Metronome. Mike Mauer, the founder of Sparrow, representing the Fall cohort; Blair Elise Aguda, co-founder of NOLA NOW; and Zach Bloom, whose roots stretch to Seattle as co-founder of Synesthesia, shared invaluable insights and advice, enriching the start for the current cohort.
The following companies are set to join the Metronome Spring 2024 Cohort:
Tipzy – A mobile application that streamlines song requests and playlist management and provides valuable data insights for bars and event venues. For patrons, Tipzy transforms a regular night out into a feeling of “f*** yeah!”
Litétude – Offers a dynamic musical learning experience where students engage with rhythm-infused literacy exercises, transforming reading practice into an interactive and enjoyable journey. By integrating advanced AI and speech recognition technology, Litétude empowers educators to track student progress, tailor instruction, and promote literacy skills effectively. With its engaging approach and data-driven insights, Litétude is revolutionizing literacy intervention practices for the next generation of learners.
Montralize – An app that helps guide artists on a fast track to monetization. Montralize makes it easy for artists to register with the necessary professional agencies to collect all royalties streams associated with releasing music. Montralize helps artists identify their niche while providing a platform to communicate directly with their fan base.
Heads up, Metronome Pitch Event is set to happen on June 26th at The George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. We’d love to see you there!
