Each Season, The Idea Village hires “Entrepreneurs-in Residence” (EIRs), seasoned business executives with specific expertise in start-up ventures, to provide entrepreneur training, mentorship, and intensive business consulting to New Orleans entrepreneurs throughout The Idea Village’s annual Entrepreneur Season (July – March).

IDEAcorps is The Idea Village’s nationally recognized MBA service learning program that connects university resources to provide direct strategic consulting to New Orleans entrepreneurs during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.
The existing IDEAcorps network includes over 500 individuals from 20 universities including: Columbia Business School; Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management; Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business; DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business; Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business; Harvard Business School; Loyola University – New Orleans; Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management; Stanford University, Graduate School of Business; Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business; University of California–Berkeley, Haas School of Business; University of Chicago, Booth School of Business; MIT Sloan School of Management; University of Pennsylvania; University of New Orleans; Xavier Labour Relations Institute –Jamshedpur, School of Business and Human Resources; and Yale School of Management.
