ACCIÓN Louisiana is an extension of ACCION Texas Inc., an award-winning nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide credit and loans to small and start-up businesses that have limited or no access to credit from commercial sources.
Established in 1994 in San Antonio, ACCIÓN helps entrepreneurs, strengthen their businesses, stabilize and increase their incomes, create employment, and contribute to the economic revitalization of their communities.
ACCION provides individual business loans from $500 to $50,000 for startups and up to $250,000 for established businesses. All loan funds repaid to ACCION are reinvested in the community.
