In 1999, Google began with two graduate students, a garage and an idea. Thirteen years later, Google remains a startup at heart.
The goal of Google’s global entrepreneurship outreach group is to organize, develop and scale our efforts to empower entrepreneurs around the world. We are establishing a consistent and productive framework for our outreach program that includes technology, events, mentorship and resources to deliver impactful results for both entrepreneurs and Google.
While the companies in our portfolio address a wide range of markets and technical problems, they are made up of teams of ambitious, diverse and passionate entrepreneurs who are as excited about building disruptive companies as we are.
Since 2008, Google has been a proud partner of The Idea Village and various entrepreneurial programs they support including 504ward, The Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, The Education Entrepreneur Challenge and New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.
