Entrepreneurs who are interested in applying for our IDEAxcelerator Programs, intensive six-month business accelerators, must register via the Entrepreneur Portal in order to access and complete the application.
The annual Idea Village Entrepreneur Challenge (IVEC) is our central accelerator program and each year The Idea Village offers a variety of more specialized accelerator cohorts. During the 2012 season, other IDEAxcelerator cohorts include Water, Tulane Technologies and Education Entrepreneurs.
The application period for IDEAxcelerator Programs opens every July and closes in August. If you are interested in applying for the 2013 IDEAxcelerator Programs, you can register via the Entrepreneur Portal at any time and complete the application when it opens again in July.
All entrepreneurs interested in applying must register and apply as outlined above. After a thorough assessment process of all applicants, The Idea Village will select the most promising entrepreneurial ventures to participate this season.

The Idea Village Entrepreneur Season culminates with New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW), the hallmark week-long festival that celebrates and supports the network of talent that has enabled New Orleans to become a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Entrepreneurs interested in attending NOEW events can register via the Entrepreneur Portal. Specific NOEW 2012 sessions and events will be announced in January.
